Think you have no time to exercise? Think again!

Here are 3 things to get your self-care on so you can look, move & feel better in your body this week:

Educate yourself in health
No time to exercise? I get it. Before kids I had the luxury of getting in multiple 75-90 minute yoga and taekwondo classes each week plus running. But when I became a stay at home mom doing an hour plus class once a week was a stretch. More than that seemed impossible. How was I supposed to find the time for fitness while taking care of my colicky baby, dirty laundry, meals and more?

It took me a while, but I realized that I needed to let go of my all or nothing exercise mindset and embrace a new approach that fit my phase of life. Some movement is better than none at all. I learned to sneak in 5-10 minute bursts of exercise multiple times a week. Half the time I didn’t even put on workout gear (yes, you can exercise in jeans or even a skirt).

Now with older and independent kids I have more time for movement but my desire for long intense workouts is gone. And I've discovered that 15-45 minutes 2-3 times a week is all I really need. Instead I spend my extra time doing what really brings me joy - walking, hiking, and biking.

Empower yourself through movement
Drop your all or nothing mindset and get moving! You *can* find 5-10 minutes a day to move your body (just think about the number of minutes you spending scrolling through social media😉).
